Does clear water mean clean water?

Many people think that clear water indicates clean water; however, we want to debunk that myth. Clean water in a swimming pool shouldn't be judged only by its clarity, even though the lack of transparency is a number one indicator that you should not get in the pool.

Looks can be misleading, and most water contaminants are impossible to detect by the human eye. The water might look clear, but there could still be microorganisms and harmful chemicals lurking within.

To eliminate the presence of bacteria, the swimming pool should be maintained correctly; it means that your pool maintenance company should check weekly for the three most important aspects of pool maintenance service: circulation, filtration, and chemistry. That trio inspection is an absolute must in pool cleaning and servicing. If one of them is often omitted or done incorrectly (for example, poor chemistry balance), you can be sure that your swimming pool water will go bad and unhealthy very soon.

At Claropols, we include testing water balance in weekly pool maintenance service, and our pool pros take care of your pool and pool equipment with the highest caution. All we care about is your and your family's safety.
